I was excited to take on the new challenge, but little did I know that I was walking into a technological mess. The bank had many technical and management problems, and it seemed like nobody knew how to fix them. They had bought an Oracle Exadata machine in 2016, but it was just sitting there, unused and unloved. It was like a big, powerful car that nobody knew how to drive.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-1.png 225w, https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-1-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The old management didn&#8217;t want me to work on the Exadata machine. They told me to use it just for testing, which didn&#8217;t make sense. It was like buying a Ferrari and only using it to drive to the grocery store. I tried to explain to them that the Exadata machine was capable of so much more, but they just wouldn&#8217;t listen.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"295\" height=\"171\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-691\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The new management supported me, but the old management didn&#8217;t want to help. It was like they were trying to sabotage my efforts. I had to navigate through a complex web of office politics just to get my job done. But I was determined to succeed, and I didn&#8217;t let the obstacles get in my way.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-692\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Later, the old management left the bank, and the new management took over. They let me work on the Exadata machine, and I moved all the important systems to it. The machine worked well for four years. It was fast, reliable, and secure. We were able to process transactions quickly and efficiently, and our customers were happy.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"278\" height=\"181\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-697\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>But then, the bank decided to move the important systems back to the old machines. I tried to stop them, but they didn&#8217;t listen. I was surprised and disappointed. It was like they were throwing away a precious gift. I couldn&#8217;t understand why they would want to go back to the old way of doing things.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-693\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I decided to leave the bank because I couldn&#8217;t change their minds. I realized that sometimes, you have to move on and find a new challenge. It&#8217;s funny that the bank later bought a new Oracle Exadata machine. This shows that people don&#8217;t always make good decisions, and they don&#8217;t always use the best technology.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"224\" src=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-694\" srcset=\"https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-5.png 225w, https:\/\/humtechno.com\/intro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-5-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Oracle Exadata is a great machine, but people need to use it correctly. My experience shows that even the best technology can&#8217;t succeed if people don&#8217;t use it well. It&#8217;s like having a superpower but not knowing how to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope that my story can help others learn from my experience. Remember, technology is only as good as the people who use it. You need to have the right mindset and the right skills to get the most out of any technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, I&#8217;m glad that I had the experience of working with the Oracle Exadata machine. It taught me a lot about perseverance and the importance of using technology correctly.
